The Cooking Instructor will educate and inspire students by teaching culinary techniques, recipes, and kitchen safety in a classroom, workshop, or online environment. Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and deliver engaging cooking classes, workshops, or demonstrations.
- Prepare lesson plans, recipes, and instructional materials tailored to the audience.
- Demonstrate proper cooking techniques, food preparation, and kitchen safety.
- Supervise and assist students during hands-on cooking activities.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the teaching kitchen or classroom.
- Evaluate student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Stay updated on culinary trends and incorporate them into lessons.
- Manage class logistics, including ingredient sourcing and equipment setup.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a chef, cook, or culinary instructor.
- Strong knowledge of various cuisines, cooking techniques, and food safety.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and motivate students of all skill levels.
- High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree or certification preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
