Job Purpose
The Project Manager will drive the successful delivery of projects by providing strong people leadership, fostering team development, and ensuring effective coaching and performance management. This role primarily delegates tasks while maintaining the ability to step in for hands‑on execution when necessary.
Key Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional project teams, setting clear goals and expectations.
Coach team members and manage performance to enhance productivity and professional growth.
Delegate responsibilities appropriately, intervening directly on critical tasks as needed.
Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior leadership.
Facilitate project meetings, workshops, and retrospectives to drive continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with project governance, quality standards, and best practices.
Required Qualifications
Proven experience (5+ years) as a Project Manager delivering complex projects.
Demonstrated expertise in people leadership, team development, and coaching.
Strong ability to delegate tasks effectively while remaining hands‑on when required.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
PMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent certification.
Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, JIRA, Asana).
Ability to manage project budgets and resources efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications
Agile or Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO, etc.).
Experience in the specific industry of the hiring organization (e.g., technology, finance, healthcare).
Advanced degree (MBA or related field).
Familiarity with change management and organizational development practices.
Track record of implementing performance management frameworks within project teams.
