Job Purpose: The Senior Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing large-scale, complex projects across the organization. This role ensures that all project objectives are met while adhering to established timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of multiple projects simultaneously.
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effectiveness.
Identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
Communicate project status, progress, and changes to stakeholders and senior management.
Coordinate and motivate cross-functional project teams.
Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Conduct post-project evaluations and implement lessons learned.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
7+ years of project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead role.
Proven track record of successfully managing large, complex projects.
Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Asana).
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Experience in the relevant industry (e.g., IT, construction, healthcare).
Master’s degree in a related field.
Experience managing remote or distributed teams.
