Job Purpose: The Project Manager oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of specific short-term and long-term projects. The role ensures that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
Successfully manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders.
Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven working experience as a project manager in a relevant industry.
Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities.
Preferred Qualifications:
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
Experience with project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira).
Advanced degree (e.g., MBA) or specialized training in project management.
Experience managing cross-functional or international teams.
