Job Purpose
Ensure that data scientists can transform raw data into actionable insights, supporting decision‑making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Collect, clean, and integrate data from relational databases and data warehouses.
Develop and maintain dashboards using Power BI or Tableau to visualize business metrics.
Design, train, and evaluate machine‑learning models aligned with business objectives.
Apply statistical methods to validate findings and quantify uncertainty.
Write efficient Python scripts leveraging pandas, NumPy, and related libraries for data manipulation and automation.
Required Qualifications
Strong knowledge of relational database concepts, SQL querying (SELECT, JOIN, GROUP BY) and data warehousing (star schema, fact/dimension tables).
Proficiency in business intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau) and ability to choose appropriate visualizations.
Understanding of machine‑learning fundamentals, supervised/unsupervised learning, overfitting, bias‑variance trade‑off, and appropriate evaluation metrics.
Solid foundation in statistics and probability, including hypothesis testing, confidence intervals, and interpretation of p‑values.
Advanced Python programming skills, including data structures (list, dict, set), pandas data frames, and automation scripting.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with version‑controlled model deployment and monitoring.
Familiarity with cloud data platforms and big‑data processing frameworks.
Ability to communicate technical insights to non‑technical stakeholders using clear visual storytelling.
