Senior product designer

Job Purpose: The Senior Product Designer is responsible for creating intuitive, engaging, and effective user experiences for digital products. This role will drive the design process from concept to execution, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs in a fully remote environment.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end design process for new and existing products, from research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery.

• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to define product requirements and translate them into user-centered design solutions.

• Conduct user research, usability testing, and gather feedback to inform design decisions.

• Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs.

• Advocate for best practices in UX/UI design and contribute to the development of design systems and guidelines.

• Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback to elevate the overall quality of the design team.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.

• 5+ years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or a similar role.

• Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in designing digital products and user interfaces.

• Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working in cross-functional teams.

• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in agile development environments.

• Familiarity with front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is a plus.

• Prior experience in mentoring or leading design teams.

• Experience designing for accessibility and inclusivity.

• Previous remote work experience.
