The Cyber Security Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of cybersecurity projects, ensuring they meet organizational goals and compliance standards. This role coordinates cross-functional teams, manages project timelines and budgets, and acts as the primary point of contact for cybersecurity initiatives.

The Cyber Security Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing cybersecurity projects from initiation to completion, ensuring that all project objectives are met within scope, time, and budget constraints. This role ensures the successful implementation of security solutions and compliance with industry standards.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Plan, execute, and deliver cybersecurity projects according to defined timelines and budgets.
Coordinate cross-functional teams including IT, security analysts, and external vendors.
Develop detailed project plans, including scope, milestones, and resource allocation.
Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
Communicate project status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and senior management.
Ensure all cybersecurity projects comply with relevant regulations and organizational policies.
Manage project documentation and ensure knowledge transfer to operational teams.
Facilitate post-project reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
3+ years of experience managing IT or cybersecurity projects.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Proven experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field.
Relevant cybersecurity certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CISA).
