Heath care worker, pediatric nurse

Job Purpose: The Pediatric Nurse (Remote) is responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care to pediatric patients through telehealth platforms. The role focuses on supporting children and their families by providing medical advice, care coordination, and health education remotely.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct virtual assessments and triage of pediatric patients, identifying urgent needs and providing appropriate interventions.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement care plans.

• Educate families on pediatric health issues, medication administration, and disease prevention.

• Monitor patient progress and follow up on treatment plans via telehealth systems.

• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

• Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families.

• Participate in remote team meetings and ongoing professional development.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license, with eligibility to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing.

• Proficiency in using telehealth technology and electronic health records.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or higher degree.

• Certification in Pediatric Nursing (CPN or equivalent).

• Previous experience in remote or telehealth nursing roles.

• Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
